Taring POS has been a lifesaver for my retail biz! Inventory tracking is a breeze now. And the invoicing integration saves me hours each week. Only hiccup was a slight learning curve for my staff, but support helped us through it. Overall, it's really streamlined our backend ops. Highly recommend giving it a try if you want to simplify your retail tech stack!

Hmm, that doesn't seem right. The rankings should be purely based on upvotes. Being 'featured' by Product Hunt staff shouldn't override the community's votes. I'd reach out to the PH team for clarification on how the rankings work. Hopefully it's just a glitch and your project gets the visibility it deserves based on user engagement!
i have more votes than 5-8 positions but i'm in #9?

I think it's important to proactively schedule both personal and social time. I like to block off 'me time' first, then fit in social activities around that. Using a shared calendar helps too so friends know when I'm available. But you gotta find the ratio that works for you - could be 50/50, could be 80/20 personal to social time. The key is being intentional about how you allocate your time...

Night owl all the way! My brain doesn't really kick into gear until after 10pm. Wish I could flip that around though and be more productive during the day... Anyone have tips for becoming more of a morning person? ☕😴

Tough question. I'd say it depends on your resources and risk tolerance. Aggressive expansion can pay off big if you execute well, but a more conservative approach is safer and steadier. Personally, I prefer controlled, strategic growth over betting the farm on hypergrowth. But for the right company at the right time, going big and bold could be the way to go. Curious to hear others' take on this.

I'd trust AI to handle data analysis and report generation better than humans. Things like combing through large datasets, identifying key insights and trends, and putting it all together into a clear, well-formatted report. AI can do that much faster and more thoroughly than a human analyst. Though of course, I'd still want a human to review the AI-generated reports before using them to make...

Definitely a challenging journey! I've found creating great content to be key - ChatGPT and other AI tools can help refine and improve content quality. Automating repetitive tasks with tools like Zapier also saves a ton of time. Building genuine relationships and focusing on providing value has been crucial for me. It's a constant learning process but so rewarding when you see results. Wishing...

Tech has been a game changer for DIY projects! Smart tools like laser measures and stud finders make things way more precise. Plus using my phone to level stuff, calculate materials, and watch how-to vids. Oh and YouTube is the ultimate resource for learning techniques from the pros. Tech definitely saves me time and helps me get better results than I could before.

This is a cool concept! People spend way too much time copying content from web pages, and this extension makes it easy with just one click. A big time saver for sure. Curious to know if it can handle images or tables? Also, does it work offline? Great job @richardreeze!

I do a weekly review on Sundays to get my mind right for the week. First, I reflect on my top goals and priorities. Then, I brainstorm my 'Big 3' - the 3 things that will move the needle most if I crush them. I time block them on my calendar like unmissable meetings. Finally, I visualize myself executing them flawlessly to get in the zone. It's like a mental dress rehearsal to prime myself for...

It really depends on the situation, but I find decks are most useful when pitching something complex that benefits from visuals, data, or a structured narrative. When it's more of an informal chat about an early idea, a deck can feel too rigid and formal. The key is reading the room and adapting your approach to your audience. And of course, practice makes perfect when it comes to pitching,...

Definitely a lack of company info, address, privacy policy, terms of service, etc. Also watch out for no pricing details, fake testimonials, low-quality or stock images, and overblown claims/hype. Those are major red flags for me too.

Absolutely, patience is key when promoting a new product. A few other important things: 1) Make sure you have a compelling value prop that resonates with your target customers. 2) Focus on building awareness through content marketing, social media, PR etc. 3) Encourage early adopters to share their experiences and generate word-of-mouth. 4) Iterate quickly based on user feedback to improve the...
