I've started to use omnivore to substitute readwise reader. some features are missing but it does beat the price that isn't sustainable from readwise reader.

Hey everyone, glad to finally be submitted here.
I've been working on Omnivore for a while now, its a completely free and open source read-it-later tool. I started Omnivore because I love to read, wanted to bring a little more organization to how I spend my time online, and love to build things.
We have an iOS app, web app, and Android app (mea culpa the Android app needs a lot of love) for reading. Browser extensions for saving, and we handle feeds (just started beta testing RSS/Atom), and newsletters. We've been popular in the PKM community because we put a lot of effort into making it easy to sync your reading into Logseq and Obsidian. A popular workflow is to save to Omnivore, organize (add labels), read and highlight, then sync your notes/highlights into a PKM to link with the rest of your thinking.
We have a pretty great community on Discord: https://discord.gg/h2z5rppzz9

Great app, in addition to the accolades commented on by other reviewers about the core functionality, the app also has great integrations. The integration with iOS, Safari, Chrome-based browsers, and the excellent Logseq plugin make this a 5-star app and a must-have for any FOSS enthusiast who loves to read.

I find Omnivore super useful to save articles I like to access later and to share parts I find most relevant -- it's a lot better than sharing a full link or copy-pasting a passage.
