kudos @ launching this release ?makers ๐Ÿฅณ super exciting! the ability to act on user feedback is the secret sauce behind many of the best products and platforms out there. if you care about user feedback, Usersnap is worth checking out!
Klaus-M. Schremser
@__tosh Thanks Thomas. Secret sauces are used to cook the best meals but it also needs a good execution. Usersnap provides you with an easy-to-use software and helps you to bring your team on board with their existing workflows (share the user feedback via Slack, MS Teams, Jira etc) ... Kudos back to you for being an amazing supporter.
Haymo Meran
@__tosh thank you Tosh for publishing Usersnap on Product Hunt! You are a legend!
Josef Trauner
@__tosh totally agree to that, it's about the ability to act on that feedback. An important step is to just start collecting feedback, it doesn't matter if you are still early and don't have that much tracking. One step after the other. That's why our customers like is no matter if their organization is small or large.
Markus Jenul
Very cool! Customer feedback is absolutely critical to get happier customers. AND I love the simplicity of that tool!
Klaus-M. Schremser
@markus_jenul1 Markus, thank you so much for your comment and I can't agree more. Sometimes, I forget that there are still software tools out there, which take ages to implement and to get started with. Usersnap is set up in minutes and you're ready to collect feedback and share it with your team (Slack, MS Teams, Jira, etc). Your team starts to hear the pure voice of your users and customers.
Haymo Meran
@markus_jenul1 much appreciated!
Ashley Cheng
Making it easy to use (almost zero-code) has been very important to us and our users! You can literally start getting customer feedback and satisfaction within minutes ๐Ÿคฉ @markus_jenul1
Klaus-M. Schremser
Thanks so much for hunting @__tosh ๐ŸŽ‰ Hi Iโ€™m Klaus-M. ๐Ÿ‘‹ Iโ€™m the co-founder of Usersnap, a serial entrepreneur and a triathlete! Iโ€™ve built some companies and released many products in the past. Most of them could have been way more successful with customer feedback early on. But I relied on my own โ€œexpertiseโ€ and gut-feeling too much, and did not see how the voice of the customer can shape product decisions and strategies. Thatโ€™s why we built Usersnap, and our core value is #MakeFeedbackMatter ๐Ÿ”ฅ Let me explain how we help SaaS companies, startups and PMs: โ“ Your pain You can not decide what to build next because you have no evidence of what your target audience needs. Or you designed the wrong solution because you did not understand the core problem of your potential customers. ๐Ÿ’ก Your JTBD Get more customers and grow product adoption by solving validated customer needs and values. How? ๐Ÿค” Gather feature requests Prioritize with upvotes Allow customers to send screen captures Interact with customers via mini-surveys Follow-up each feedback personally โ€ฆ can you do all that with Usersnap? YES ๐Ÿ’ช โžก๏ธ Try it out, it takes less than 10 minutes! You can copy and paste a global snippet in 2 minutes and start collecting feedback with existing templates in 5 minutes. ๐Ÿ˜Š Have questions? Our whole team is listed as makers and here to answer your questions. And to listen to your valuable feedback. Thanks for your support! Cheers, Klaus-M. and all Usersnapians ๐Ÿ™Œ
Klaus-M. Schremser
@__tosh @nihalbhushan Thanks Nihal. Much appreciated and we would love to hear your feedback #MakeFeedbackMatter
Brian Shultz
So cool to see this on producthunt! We are happy customers here at Tango!
Haymo Meran
@__tosh @kmschremser thank you @kmschremser for pushing the message out!
Luka Kankaras
@brian_shultz Thank you for being with us! :)
Luka Kankaras
@nihalbhushan the one who tries, never fails :)))
Benoit Chambon
Looks super easy to use! Congrats on the launch guys :D (users feedback is so much important, keep doing!)
Will Perlmutter
@benoit_chambon user feedback is clutch! thanks a ton for your support. we look forward to providing the best product possible for collecting feedback!
Luka Kankaras
@benoit_chambon Thank you, Benoit, appreciate it!
Axel Lavergne
Looks amazing, big fan of the pricing, very clear & straightforward. I really like the in-app forms feature, which feels like an extremely efficient way to gather feedback. Congrats on the launch! Looks like you're on solid track! Curious if we could build an integration with reviewflowz, specifically around your NPS collection feature at first. Is that something you think we could make happen? :)
Klaus-M. Schremser
@axel_lavergne Hi Alex, we are already interested in integrations. Let's talk about it kms[at]usersnap.com
Ashley Cheng
@axel_lavergne in-app forms do increase engagement and response rates quite well!
Paul Shuteyev
Wow, glad to see more customer feedback tools launching, Usersnap looks great for CSMs and product teams. Congrats guys!
Klaus-M. Schremser
@paul_shuteyev Thanks Paul. Product teams and CSMs are our favorite audience (and everyone else who wants to leverage user feedback) ๐Ÿคฉ
Haymo Meran
@paul_shuteyev we live and breath feedback and are happy to share everything we learn about it! Thank you for giving us a chance!
Ashley Cheng
@paul_shuteyev wow you've pointed out our main personas right away, a true experienced digital marketer! ๐Ÿ‘ I'm also a marketer and I've found customer feedback increasingly useful for optimizing website content and understanding search to buy intent. I love the mini-surveys that can be triggered by time on page and specific user events, they provide me with qualitative insights that I would otherwise have to conduct several user interviews to obtain ๐Ÿ‘€ What do you think about marketers collecting customer feedback? ๐Ÿ˜Š
Rajat Dangi ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ
Getting honest user feedback is difficult. This product looks interesting, will give it a try probably. Congrats on the launch! ๐Ÿ‘
Klaus-M. Schremser
@rajat_dangi1 getting feedback is sometimes hard, but anticipating it can bring you and your product so much further down the road. I remember the hours spent in my early roles on features that no one asked for or which did not fullfil a need or ease a pain. Better to start with feedback and go from there :).
Will Perlmutter
@rajat_dangi1 @kmschremser when in doubt, ask the customers :) let them leave the breadcrumbs for the next possible product decision
Ken Babcock
We are super users at Tango - our near-term roadmap has been heavily influenced by feedback weโ€™ve received from Usersnap. Well done!
Klaus-M. Schremser
@ken_babcock ohhhh, I like this comment and I'm very glad that feedback collected via Usersnap is heavily influencing your roadmap. Thanks a lot.
Haymo Meran
@ken_babcock thank you Ken great to hear that you get good value out of the product! I love to hear that ๐Ÿ˜
Luka Kankaras
@ken_babcock I love when I hear this. Are you familiar with all the use cases we offer? Maybe you can benefit out of it even more ๐Ÿคฉ
Mustafa S.
Congrats on the launch! It seems slick! I am sure it will help product teams a ton. Customer/Feedback driven product development is still unchallenged. Good luck team!
Ashley Cheng
Well said @milkers! It has certainly helped our product team a ton ๐Ÿ’ช And also for our developers to know more about actual customer needs and preferences!
Oli
Hello ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿฝ - Can we custom the feedback button with one icon who match with our icons design? - Do you have any screenshots for Asana or a tutorial, doc somewhere? I saw something on your blog but not so much info to how it's working, how that make the tasks, tags, etc... Do with the basic subscription for Asana we can have all the power of you app or we have to have an Asana premium subscription too? - Do it's working in a PWA? If yes, can we custom the form from our ends? Like we know already the email of the users we don't need to request it again in the form... - I test your app right now and i saw in your description that we can make video, but in this page https://usersnap.com/l/routing-m... on report a bug we can only upload a video and not directly create one, do its possible to directly record the screen or the users need to know how to record a screen and make all the steps to save it to send to us? Personally i know how to do but many of my users don't. - โ€œ Try our browser extension โ€œ ... why you don't love us ( Safari users ) ๐Ÿ˜ญ
Klaus-M. Schremser
@oli76376962 Hi Oli, thanks a lot for trying out Usersnap right away. - customization of the widget, form and button is possible. I'm not sure about the icon what you want to customize. - Here's the tutorial on how to integrate Asana with Usersnap https://help.usersnap.com/docs/a... - I'm not sure what kind of subscription of Asana, you need for the integration (but I will figure it out) - Regarding PWA - if you are not providing it offline, it's possible to integrate Usersnap - you can create screen sharing videos AND upload videos (attachments) - both is possible - Safari extension - no comment at this point ;) for all further questions, let's have a chat - here's my email kms@usersnap.com
martin sereinig
@oli76376962 klaus didn't โ€“ but i will comment on the browser extension โ€“ mostly since i'm a safari user myself ;) since safari also started using the quasi-standard web extensions api, a safari extension is probably closer than it ever was. we'll investigate if this would be feasible!
Lazare Rossillon
Was thinking of implementing an NPS for our start-up and this looks like the tool to use. Can I tie user feedback to their accounts / a token?
Ashley Cheng
Hi @lazare_rossillon Spoke looks like the exact product Usersnap serves! Each feedback item in your app (with logged in users) you can automatically fetch custom user data, as well as the captured user environment metadata. This helps to give context to the customer feedback for you to act on it and reply more accurately. Our NPS widget can be implemented in your app or be sent via emails, to increase response rates. And in-app you can set display frequency to, for example, every 90 days. Hope this helps!
Haymo Meran
@lazare_rossillon yes you can. Thanks for considering us! All the best with Spoke!
Haymo Meran
Thanks @__tosh ! I am thankful and happy to be here! We have been working hard to build a simple-to-use feedback platform, and help product makers get in touch with their users easier. These are my thoughts about feedback and Usersnap: Feedback is the way to grow! - Personally, as a team, as a product as a company. There is nothing more powerful than honest feedback from those you interact with. Sometimes it is hard to take, but itโ€™s always helping me be to become a better person, a better father, a better partner, a better colleague, a better product manager, and better entrepreneur. It was hard for me to learn how I can create an environment where those around me felt empowered to tell me the truth. I was too focused on myself. I realized that I needed to learn to listen. And listen only - without trying to justify my actions. The best way for me to achieve this was to make space and time for a deeper conversation to ask important questions. One example of an insight: people feel left alone or not appreciated if I donโ€™t respond to their requests timely. It might seem obvious to you, but for me it was an important lesson. So, I started to give timely feedback even if that meant to tell them that I cannot handle the request for the next few days. When have you asked feedback about yourself? What have you learned? I would love to hear your story! We built Usersnap as the customer feedback platform based on learnings from real-life interactions. Now you can create a place where your customers can get in touch with you. We make feedback welcome so they feel empowered to tell you the truth. And we made it easy for you to handle the incoming requests and give immediate feedback so they feel heard and appreciated. Try it out and let me know what you think!
Klaus-M. Schremser
@__tosh @draftkraft Yes, I can't agree more and I'm truly grateful that you made me aware of how to include feedback and active listening to my personal interactions. It helps you personally to grow. The last 2 years were not only an amazing growth journey for @usersnap but also a personal growth path for me.
Ashley Cheng
@draftkraft It has been such a different experience, in an absolutely incredible way, to work with a company culture that values feedback exchange and growth from listening. Thanks for creating this feedback-driven environment ๐Ÿ˜บ
Luka Kankaras
@__tosh @draftkraft you couldn't say it better ๐Ÿ˜
Ashley Cheng
Trilled to share this new side of Usersnap ๐Ÿ™Œ I've learnt so much as a product marketer with customer feedback, it's really a necessity to improving our features, website and communication. And now with Usersnap collecting feedback is easy and fast ๐Ÿš€ Thanks @__tosh for believing in us ๐Ÿ˜‰
Klaus-M. Schremser
@__tosh @ashley_lomazzi Thanks Ashley, I can totally agree. Steering your business without customer feedback is like sailing a ship and only looking at the map. Better to look what around you, listening to what they say on the radio and checking your GPS ;)
Haymo Meran
@__tosh @ashley_lomazzi thank you @ashley_lomazzi for making this reality! You are an inspiring voice of Usersnap!
Sascha Reuter
This looks awesome, looking forward to try this for QuestMate.com! Is there a Mobile / React Native version in the works by any chance?
Klaus-M. Schremser
@sreuter Thanks a lot. I looked at QuestMate yesterday and it's awesome. We are launching a mobile SDK in a few weeks and we would love to hear your feedback. We have a react native app for our dashboard - built by a guy we both know and like :)
Haymo Meran
@sreuter I would love to see Usersnap and QuestMate sitting on a tree :)
Klaus-M. Schremser
@sreuter @draftkraft I love that picture
Etienne Dargnies
So important to get Customers feedback and yet so hard to actually collect it. This is awesome. Congrats!
Ashley Cheng
You're right @etidar, and that's why we've experimented and came up with various ways to collect feedback - doesn't have to be as difficult now, with Usersnap you can just select a template and get started ๐Ÿ˜‰
Klaus-M. Schremser
@etidar yes, totally true. But first you have to ask and then, feedback will follow. "Sync with Salesforce within Zoom" made me curious. It's possible to share the customer feedback with Salesforce collected by Usersnap - just to mention it ;)
Luka Kankaras
Since working at Usersnap, I learned that a whole bunch of companies struggle with listening to their customers. The inability to create a feedback-driven culture can significantly affect business (this is a proven fact like the one that elephants canโ€™t jump). Even those who choose to become more feedback-driven often struggle to choose the right feedback channels. That's where Usersnap jumps in. We grow and succeed together. We will help you do whatever it takes to generate feedback. So happy to be here. Thank you all for your attention and for supporting us ๐Ÿ’™
Haymo Meran
@luka_kankaras1 keep the good stuff rolling Luca! ๐Ÿคฉ
Luka Kankaras
@draftkraft always ๐Ÿคฉ
Daniel Giovacchini
Usersnap powers support at Tango! As an early, but fast growing startup, we love the simplicity and the price point. It gives us FAQs, Support Inbox, and we can route bugs and product ideas to our respective tools. Thank you makers!
Klaus-M. Schremser
@dangio25 Hi Daniel, thanks for the support. We are happy that Usersnap can support your growth. To the moon :)
Ashley Cheng
Our pricing is designed to scale as our customers' companies grow, like your situation in Tango @dangio25 ๐Ÿ™Œ We're happy to see you using the feedback menu and various different feedback projects! Thank you ๐Ÿ’™
Paul Rasmussen
Can you tell me the difference between Customer Reviews and Customer Feedback. I was wondering ....if this software is so good at extracting normally hard to get feedback, could it be used to extract more customer reviews? Or possibly could the data collected be used to create in depth customer reviews? which is usually very hard to get
Ashley Cheng
@paul_rasmussen I think one of the more obvious ways to separate the two is customer reviews are public and written for other customers to see, while customer feedback is written for the team of makers and can be both public or private. What's important here is customer reviews is a form of customer feedback. And that's why makers should respond to them ๐Ÿ˜‰ Re: can one use customer feedback to get more reviews? What a great idea! ๐Ÿ’ก When you get a positive customer feedback it is definitely the perfect opportunity to ask the customer to write a public review for you. And they will probably be more likely to say yes! With Usersnap you can set up a connection project, basically having a follow up form to ask the customers that completed the previous form to give you a review!
Klaus-M. Schremser
@paul_rasmussen @ashley_lomazzi Thanks Ashley for your explanation
Will Perlmutter
The folks at Usersnap, above all, practice what we preach. We don't just tell people to collect customer feedback, we collect it ourselves. We don't just collect it ourselves, we consider it the lifeblood of our product improvements. So often we've come to a crossroads of "what do we do next?" to make our product better. Consistently, when looking into our customer feedback, we get great insights on what to build; insights that help make our customers more successful in what they want to in their 9-5, and beyond. Listening to our customers has had its ripple effects which helped bring us to our Product Hunt launch today. I'm personally so thankful to be part of a team that makes customer feedback a priority in product decisions and serves customers in collecting their customer feedback too!
Klaus-M. Schremser
@will_perlmutter I'm also grateful to have you on the team. And I saw you anticipating the feedback collection to many of your projects which lead to a better outcome. The collecting feedback and active listening works in multiple areas of our lives.
Josef Trauner
Thanks @__tosh weโ€™re so excited to be here ๐ŸŽ‰ Hi to all you wonderful product people! Iโ€™m Josef, co-founder and CEO of Usersnap. And I have some fun facts and metrics to share about customer feedback with Usersnap! ๐Ÿข Companies that collects feedback with us: Microsoft, Canva, Freepik, Red Hat, Dynatrace, Runtastic, Cisco ๐Ÿค‘ Results theyโ€™ve achieved: Doubled customer feedback in months. Reduced feedback management time by 70%. ๐Ÿ“Š Our growth since last year: 2 million feedback items collected. Hit 100% MoM growth rate 3 times. You can do the same by listening to customer feedback! Letโ€™s #MakeFeedbackMatter ๐Ÿ™Œ Cheers, Josef
Haymo Meran
@__tosh @josef_trauner One beautiful fact of Usersnap is, that it works equally good for a freelancer and for large teams or organisations. Just like feedback is important on a personal level as well as on an organisational.
