Maybe avoid the weekends because of low traffic on the site. Launching on weekends is a great option

We chose Wednesday as Midweek made sense but I'd say just avoid the weekends as you do see a significant drop in traffic
@niamh_mcglade thats cool! this is very aligned with my PH visiting pattern too...i am checking PH more heavily on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays...
@mehmet_yitmen1 Yea I think the standard working week will be the best opportunity to get eyes on your launch. However there is the trade-off that competition on these days is much higher

@mehmet_yitmen1 @xavier_jj I haven't noticed a massive difference. I think the bigger thing with product hunt is you can never predict what will launch on the same day as you. You may have an amazing product but the next notion could be launching too. All you can do is prepare and then roll with the punches

Depends, weekends have slow traffic and allow low competition and weekdays are more tough to stay on the top but does give more attention.. You can choose whichever you wanna go with!

- Weekends are less busy but also less traffic.
1. Monday: Some makers avoid Monday as everyone is busy on Monday with meetings, etc.
2. Tuesday: Most competitive day of the week usually, a lot of traffic but harder to get top rank
3. Wednesday: Competitive day, hard to make top 5 but loads of traffic.
4. Thursday: Competitive but less than Tuesday and Wednesday, still loads of good traffic.
5. Friday: Less traffic but also less competitive, great day to launch if your goal is ranking in top #3
6. Saturday: Low traffic, typically dominated by small indie projects, resources, meme products and launches looking for beta users
7. Sunday: Low traffic, typically dominated by small indie projects, resources, meme products and launches looking for beta users
It depends on what's your dream outcome!
If the aim is to get in top 5 of ph and have a talking point then choose weekends
If the aim is maximum traffic exposure, pick Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Monday & Friday will get you a taste of both, less traffic & less competition
Tuesday and Thursday are regarded as the most active days, as many major organizations choose these days to launch their products.
The best day to launch on Product Hunt (PH) depends on your goals. If you want to win the Product Hunt leaderboard, it's better to launch on the weekends when there is less competition. However, if you want to get as many leads as possible from PH, it's better to launch from Monday to Thursday when there is more traffic on the site.
I have read various articles and have been using this platform for a month now. Here are the conclusions:
- Monday is the busiest day, there are a lot of different products
- On Friday, feedback from users decreases, but competition remains high
- Weekend products receive minimal response compared to weekdays. But your chance of getting to the top increases, because there are fewer competitors
- Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are probably the best days to launch
