Hi. We've prepared some tips and tricks you can use to improve your landing page. 🛠
1. Strong headlines change the game
You’ve got 14 milliseconds to capture a user’s intrigue with the content above the fold (i.e., what’s visible before scrolling). So make sure it packs a punch. Mention a specific, targeted and unique value proposition. Who do you help and how do you do that?
2. Frame your user as a hero
People want you to make their life easier. Through your copy, paint a vision where you save them time, energy, and money so they can achieve their desired result. Just make sure you’re keeping it concise and to the point.
3. Objection handling is your best friend
Make sure your website answers common or predictable questions. Clearly detail what features set you apart from competitors, ensure their data is safe and let users know that a free trial requires no card info.
4. Show yourself off
Increase the effectiveness by displaying relevant screenshots. When users get a feel for the product, they’re more likely to trust you and hesitate less. Add social proof by featuring clients, testimonials, and stats - a trusted brand is a trustworthy brand.
5. Save thinking time with CTAs
Users need to be moved to action. Make your main CTA aligned with your value proposition and place it effectively across your site. Give them a reason to click the ‘Sign Up’ button. In fact, make it an obvious choice to do so.
There are a lot of different factors that go into making an effective landing page but these are just some general foundations you can lay to improve an existing website.
When starting or growing a business, learning from the stories of others can be a vital resource.
