Would you rather choose products from big corporations or local companies? Why?

I prefer local companies as you feel that your work matters. However, I think it's also nice to get experience in a big company to gain some knowledge that would be hard to get in small company

Local companies & start-ups, don't really come from generational wealth and have put in hard & smart work.

Being a start-up cofounder myself I somewhere have this biased toward supporting smaller businesses as I kind of empathize with them. Other than that I personally feel that local companies would offer better services in most cases as they would want to focus on user acquisition through their product offering and services. On the other hand, bigger corporations already have these set processes and would rarely go out of their way for user grievances. Local Companies in the majority of my decisions!!!

I'm a bit biased towards local companies and Startups as I'm one of them. However, if big corporations provide a great service when compared to local companies, I will consider them for some products.

It depends on the purpose or function of this product. For some major products, I will choose the big corporations since it's the guarantee of the product quality and service reliability. But for some less important services, I may pick up the local companies or some startups.

Support local companies

wow this is tough @basv it really depends on what I'm specifically looking for in that moment, there is no one answer or rather right answer in my opinion. In one moment I might be looking for something very comprehensive which has been developed over time and many years of trial & error, which would lend itself to a bigger corporation with the resources to dedicate time and money to something like that. But on the other hand, I may be looking for something out of the box on a particular day, it really depends. Sorry for the non-answer.

Local companies tend to focus on increasing the quality of their products through constant innovation rather than just raising their prices to increase revenue.

Whichever tool solves the problem in a cost-effective way and has good customer feedback
