Hi. I am building AiHunt (https://aihunt app). I have launched AiShorts - these are curated news summaries for quick read. I am thinking to build a tiktok style app for AiShorts. What are your thoughts about this? (btw also launched on ProductHunt today!)

It definitely sounds like an idea! News channels already show news like 60 news in 60 minutes which kind of validates the product idea and market for it. But I will still suggest to validate this before going full fledged into it. One of ways to do it is run a 5-day sprint to ideate, design & validate. Also being a product designer, I will suggest you to avoid taking validation on idea. Idea validation is a trap. People might say they like an idea (like I said) but when you develop and give to them, they might not use it. That's because people are not very aware about what they want but they are more sure about what is their problem or pain point. Rather try to find their problem around video news consumptions ex. - how do you consume news online? How would you like to improve your experience?

AiShorts, your vision of a TikTok-style app for quick news, really taps into the heartbeat of how user’s consume digital media today. TikTok has redefined how content and media UIs are done and has become the premiere design pattern for many media apps like it. Reminds me of our app, AudioOne FYI's innovative approach, which has already mastered the art of delivering an audio-first experience, akin to personal radio, all powered by AI. We created a “Now Playing” TikTok style UI as well, for the user to quickly navigate to the next item in the dynamic queue. Currently, AudioOne FYI offers news articles in AI-supported shortform and various languages, with a vision to extend these capabilities to podcasts, making them as dynamic and accessible.A standout feature of AudioOne FYI is its ambitious plan to integrate with major platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and Feedly sooner rather than later. This isn’t just about expanding content variety; it's about creating a seamless listening experience that integrates all facets of audio entertainment and information into one cohesive flow. Imagine AiShorts embracing a similar trajectory, where your news summaries not only captivate users with their immediacy and relevance but also harmonize with their existing digital ecosystems. By weaving in integrations with Spotify for music, Apple Music for an expansive audio library, and Feedly for a rich assortment of news feeds, AiShorts could offer a uniquely personalized and comprehensive audio-first experience. This fusion of news, podcasts, and music, enriched by AI and supported by strategic integrations, could redefine the essence of staying informed, making it a more natural, enjoyable part of our daily lives. It’s about crafting a personal radio that not only speaks in your language but also sings in your tone, creating a truly immersive world of content at your fingertips.
