@ pizza tower: I think it is not possible because Google also releases some rules and algorithms against ChatGPT

Oh bro, not only SEO but whole brand marketing might be replaced in the future.

@aashray_singhal Can be a game changer but who pays to run it. Google is funded by advertisers but B2B play might not scale that much.

@aashray_singhal @singh_ankur for now the nonprofit openai pays for it, later the user will pay who uses the api

In general, however, it is unlikely that a natural language processing model like ChatGPT would have a significant impact on SEO. SEO is a complex field that involves a variety of techniques and strategies for improving the visibility of a website in search engine results pages. While natural language processing technology like ChatGPT can be used to generate text that is similar to human-written content, it is not capable of replacing the expertise and knowledge of a trained SEO professional.

It might kill content marketing (partially) for sure.

No. The most important and hardest part of SEO is getting backlinks from high authority domains, not optimizing your website for SEO. ChatGPT will just make it easier for everyone to get their website SEO ready, which actually benefits SEO specialists since they can now focus on the most important and hardest part (link building) as opposed to the tedious website stuff.

I don't think so @singh_ankur I have tried a lot with this, but unique information comes from someone's learning. Yes, somewhere it is helping many SEO folks who can use it with the help of the Content manager. Also, One founder recommended me that this is one of the best tool that he is using to create his SEO strategies and It is helping a lot.

@vijay_singh_khatri Ok, ya can be useful for SEO. The point is will search get replaced by conversation in the long term. The kind of result present on page 1 are getting sub-optimal each passing day.

It won't "kill" SEO, but it can certainly make the life of a digital marketer much easier! It can provide a great starting point for good content, and the marketer can make a few edits and use it.

Answer by ChatGPT: It is unlikely that ChatGPT, or any other technology, will kill SEO (Search Engine Optimization). SEO is the practice of optimizing a website to improve its visibility and ranking in search engine results. It is an important aspect of digital marketing, as it helps businesses to be found by potential customers who are searching for products or services online. While ChatGPT and other technologies may evolve and change over time, it is unlikely that they will completely replace the need for SEO. This is because search engines will continue to play a vital role in helping people find information and connect with businesses online, and SEO will remain an important way for businesses to improve their visibility in search engine results.

I don't think so. Because ChatGPT is a trained language model and does not have the ability to browse the internet and provide links to specific resources or websites. But we can expect it in the future it may.
