Hi, today I'm curious to know what you think about the crazy theory in which AI will take over television and people will no longer play sports but AI will do it for us. I know, rather unlikely, but I am curious if there is even a shadow of a chance that AI will be so augmented.

AI is unlikely to replace live sports on HiTV. The excitement of watching real athletes compete, the unpredictability of the games, and the emotional connection fans have with their favorite teams are experiences that AI can't replicate. However, AI can enhance HiTV’s sports broadcasts by offering real-time analytics, personalized content, and innovative features that make the viewing experience even more engaging. hitvapp.info/

@saimir_agolli1 Right - very good point :D In Poland sometimes during the transmission of soccer matches we already have similar solutions.

Nah. I actually think the opposite -- the proliferation of ai content everywhere will drive even more demand for live and televised sports. I think people will put a premium on real experiences.

AI might enhance sports on TV with better analysis and commentary, but it’s unlikely to fully replace real athletes. People will still enjoy watching live sports played by humans.

I don’t think AI will replace real sports on TV. While AI can simulate sports, the excitement and human element of live games are irreplaceable.

What exactly do you mean by AI playing sports for us?

While AI can enhance sports broadcasting and analysis, the unique excitement and human connection of live sports are unlikely to be fully replaced by AI.

Maybe they will try it as experiment but it will be pretty false :D like... it is fake. They will pre-program the winner or? :D

AI might change how we experience sports on TV, like enhancing highlights or providing more interactive content, but it's unlikely to replace the live action and excitement of the games themselves.

How many chess matches or AlphaGo matches did you watch where 2 AIs were competing? I feel human beings need something relatable, when they consume content for entertainment. This is my viewpoint, but things can totally change in the future and we all might be heavily invested in robo wars :)

Not sure about AI replacing humans in sports, but sports commentary is already being automated and personalised using AI - https://www.reuters.com/technolo...

AI is unlikely to replace sports on TV entirely. Instead, it will enhance how we experience sports. Platforms like Futbollibre are already integrating AI to offer features like "fútbol libre en vivo," allowing you to watch matches live as they happen and keep the excitement high. With "Fútbol libre TV," you'll not only get live streams but also detailed analysis and commentary, thanks in part to AI-driven insights. As the "Fútbol Libre Copa América 2024" approaches, AI will help deliver top-notch coverage and personalized content, making it easier for fans to stay connected and engaged with both local leagues and international tournaments. AI will complement, but not replace, the live sports experience we love. You can check live sports: https://futbollibre.com.co/
