    Why is everyone making AI tools? Curious to understand the hype :)

    I have been on PH for a while now and I feel from last few weeks , makers are only making AI tools. ChatGPT effect - I know that, but ain't there other problems to solve ?

    There are products that appear in a few days or months, and they try to capitalize on the hype. All of that is for a simple reason, everyone wants to put in the lowest amount of effort and get the highest possible outcome.

    @krish_gohil Why such copy-paste products would be a big deal? The big deal products are the ones that really make a difference, not the low-effort ones.

    It is the beginning of a new era. It's like the time Steve Job presented the first smartphone. It heralded a technological revolution and happened all that happened. More and more smart, powerful and technical phones. It's the same for AI

    @marceric_a Smartphone was a disruption. Would you say the same for AI ?

    @krish_gohil yes I think it's the same thing. Because we become aware of a technological advance but this time "everyone" can make a business out of it. a bit like apps when smartphones came out, it was kind of a gold rush.
