As a Saas founder, my goal on Product Hunt is to:
- Check out new softwares
- Talk to other Saas founders
- Launch my own Saas (we'll launch in May)
But I'm curious what you guys use Product Hunt for?

@maxjacobs @sentry_co Is that about the Tap device?

@maxjacobs @maurizioisendoorn Hehe. It was just a pun. IMO: If you spend time on PH you align your self to what's relevant, you get a mindset of what to build and what not to build, how to get traction etc. Talking to other makers helps. I usually ask makers how things went a week after their launch. Sometimes even get 10h position in a launch, can be enough to get sustainable traction. That's how I think about it.

@maxjacobs @maurizioisendoorn And of course. If you haven't already. Do sign up to the Tap launch. It's going to be really cool! We have some awesome cutting edge launch strategies for this launch that can be replicated by others after us. https://www.producthunt.com/prod...

@maxjacobs @sentry_co I like that. I also thought that if I'd just watch what softwares get more upvotes than others, I'd be able to recognise if a Saas could become a winner.
Also, I did never know that even a 10th position could do that! Thanks for that insight

@maxjacobs @maurizioisendoorn I think everyone we shows it to, signs up. Bust be that book of genesis style pitch on the teaser site 😏. And thank you!!!! 🙏 Early signs of PMF 🚀

Exactly. I also use it the same way as you! Feel free to let me know when you've scheduled your launch. I'll support you!
Learn new products and analyse gap in market/ideas for the next idea 💡

@shreya_gupta02 Never thought about the last one you mentioned, but that is a great idea. There's probably also an opportunity if there are competitors but no competitor has ever launched on PH before.

@thestarkster there’s some innovative softwares here indeed. My favourite part is the launch and upvote mechanism
