Why do you think learners give up or fail at Programming ?

Never before have so many people taken up Programming. I have read so many stories of people online who have embarked on this hot and happening field. Sadly, though not everyone makes it to the end.
What do you think are the top reason why people don't make it ?

I think because they stay too much on learning and don't focus on finding monetization opportunities earlier. Instead of doing too many courses to learn the skills they see in job requirements they could try to monetize after each longer learning session. There are freelancing gigs even with HTML/CSS + design and even product making options.
Getting a little bit of money after each learning stage from their own projects will keep the motivation pumping. This will enable them to walk the journey until they reach the desired money from a great dev job or from a successful product. So my recommendation is for them to find ways to monetize what they learn early in order to not give up on the long term.
I've personally learned that freelance customers and product buyers don't require the most beautiful and well polished product/service in the world. No. They just want for someone to actually listen to them and deliver a decent result that will help them meet their objectives. So they shouldn't be scared to go for monetization early.

@arunpariyar It was only sparked by your good question 🙏

Hi @luciantartea, This is hands down on of the best advice I have read, unless some one is well off and really just doing it for fun. Money is not just crucial need but also a strong motivation for people to work harder on the craft while being able to live off of it. I hope many will find your suggestion helpful and make it an action in their plan 💪

Honestly coding isn't that easy... especially putting everything together in a complex program.

Hi @nikhilbapna I can agree on the based on my own personal experience as well 👍
I think that now there are fewer such cases than before, because almost every problem can be solved. I've had problems with Convert Int to string Unity C myself recently and quickly found the article https://ittutoria.net/question/h...
and so with many things

Just like not everyone is good at writing, not everyone is good at programming too. Although many learners want to learn program, most of them do not have the talent for programming.

Hi @zhitao_yan, I think talent can only grow if there is calling in that art so if people don't find their calling in it, as you said it might not be for them. Thank you for sharing your views 👍

I think people believe it's like learning a language, which is hard but approachable. But learning programming involves feats of logic (math) that adds a Escher-style flip to learning a language. At least it did for me.

Hi @dow_osage , I understand what you are talking about. I am trying to master that myself takes time but I agree only knowing programming syntax is not enough thats for sure 🦄
