Why do software developers age over 40 leave the industry?

Hey! I am still here and I am here for the keeps!!

A lot of them get into managerial roles and positions. It's more about strategy and implementation after a point and they no longer are devs as a consequence. A decent portion also become entrepreneurs. Or in the rare case, a farmer :D
