Why do many products can't be understood in 30 seconds?

I was really trying to understand many of the products, but I have to say most introductions of the products are so inaccessible. I don't really know what kind of problem they want to solve, how are they different from the competitors. They look all the same to me, frankly. I don't even understand why they bother to build another similar product? I have to doubt whether their products are reasonable or it's the problem of their introductions. However, it's so prevalent that I am confused that maybe it's my problem?
