Why are all convo platforms decentralized?

Decentralization is great for many things. But not conversation platforms. There are so many convo apps, but you can only speak to someone if you are signed up for the one as them (e.g. Discord or Snapchat). That's why I built a centralized audio platform called TapTalk. No sign in, no download. Only 3 clicks from start to end. Just finished building my MVP, please check it out! I would greatly appreciate your feedback. ➡️ www.TapTalk.live

That's an interesting concept. I find that video calling apps are widely used but many people don't love the idea of being on video for all their meetings. I'm curious, does anyone else find this?
Alex
@matt_mccoy that's a really good point! Sometimes I don't want to be on video but it feels awkward if the other person has their video on. TapTalk solves this by not having a video option!

@jonathanbs thank you Jonny! I think I have like 8 apps for conversations right now, and it's getting annoying... Anyways thanks for your insights!

Kudos on TapTalk! Really simple and clean design. I find that platforms like Zoom are great for professional meetings, but I agree that there's not really a centralized platform for casual conversations. Great work!

@jake_thomps thanks! Yeah Zoom is great for work and school meetings, but not to chat with your friends or have more casual convos. Really appreciate the feedback!
