Who likes their watch?

I’m in the market for a new watch. Currently using Apple watch but went on a 6 hour climb yesterday and it died on me. Battery is only good for about 6 hours in GPS mode and about 3 if using GPS and music. Not good for a multiday climb.
Started researching best watches but there is too much info so I thought I would post here. Anyone really like their watch and would recommend it?
All seem to have good set of standard features but I’m looking for watch that has good battery life in GPS mode, has music (for my runs), is not glitchy, syncs well to Training Peaks and syncs well to chest strap.
Thanks!

I had a similar issue with my old Apple Watch while hiking—it left me stranded without GPS halfway through a day-long trek. I’ve recently switched to a rolex super clone watch (don’t laugh—it was surprisingly affordable for what it is). While it’s not a full-blown smart watch, it’s been great for outdoor adventures. The battery life blows most others out of the water. Sure, it doesn’t sync to Training Peaks or a chest strap, but I carry a small tracker for that. That said, if you’re into high-tech features, I’ve heard Garmin’s Fenix lineup is a solid bet for GPS endurance and syncing capabilities. They’re on my wishlist for sure!

I know that Samsung Galaxy watches are very good and can meet your needs.
I feel your pain. Apple watches are great, but battery life isn't for long hikes. Garmin Fenix or Epix services are known for their long battery life in GPS mode and have music storage. Check it out!
If you're tired of your watch tapping out mid-hike like it's on a battery-saving strike, you might want to check out the Garmin Fenix series. It's like the marathon runner of watches - keeps going and going, complete with tunes and all the sync-ups you need!
I highly recommended the Garmin Fenix 7 - It has excellent battery life in GPS mode, supports music and syncs seamlessly with Training Peaks and chest straps. Perfect long climbs and runs!
