Which way of charging do you think is better for a SaaS product?

I understand that the subscription-based payment model is the mainstream for SaaS products.
However, from my personal experience, I have found myself getting tired of subscriptions. Our lives have been inundated with various installment payments, such as streaming subscriptions, rent, car loans, Afterpay installments, productivity apps, and other seemingly small expenses that are making it difficult for us to save money.
So, I'm thinking whether LTD or hybrid model would be a better option for both customers and makers?
What‘s your thoughts on it?

Depends on the revenue goal and LTV. If you can reliably earn more revenue charging for an upfront lifetime deal than the retention revenue on a subscription plan, then lifetime deal wins.

@cyclicshaw You're right, Gavriel. Iplan run a short-term experiment to see if we can go long term lifetime deal.
SaaS (Software as a Service) is a model of delivering software applications to users over the internet. In this model, the software is hosted and maintained by a service provider, and users access it through a web browser or other internet-connected device.
