It not black and white. You need devs to create a sound project, however once that is done you should prioritize sales otherwise the product dies off

Until we reached the current level, the developers were more important. And now the sales department will be the main one =)

I would say that you need to validate the market before developing anything. But to validate the market you should have something to show, not only an idea or an elevator pitch. So, I suppose dev team to develop a MVP then sales?

50/50! Each team has to do their job well in the most convenient time!

Imo Sales is way more important. It's possible to sell contracts without even having a functioning demo and getting people to pay money is a much harder problem than wrangling some code (I might be biased as I have more of a developer background than sales though 😂)

Both developers and sales teams play crucial roles in the success of a startup, but their importance can vary depending on the stage and nature of the business.

Both are crucial but at different stages. Early on, devs can build the MVP. Once that's solid, sales teams can make it rain.

Create valuable content. This could be blog posts, infographics, videos, or anything else that will help your audience learn more about your product or service.

It depends on the stage of the startup. In the early stages, developers are more important. In the later stages, sales are more important.

Which is crucial for your startup? Developers or Sales teams I don't think we should separate Developers or Sales teams because each department will be needed at different stages of the product...

Both are important! You need the developer to build the product, and you need the sales team to get it in front of people who can use it and give genuine feedback. It's just like asking, Air or water?
I'd say both. It won't matter how great your product is if people don't know about it. On the other hand, it won't matter if everyone knows about your product but you can't deliver quality.

Both are critically important on different stages.
