As a developer i prefer 52mn of focus. 25 mn is too short.

I find none of them particularly useful for me personally. Pomodoro leaves me unfocused, and 52/17 does the same. Every time I start doing work, I feel like an old computer booting to life. Once I take a break, that's "turning off", so if I "turn off frequently", it'll usually lead to more wasted time for me. I find it much more useful to take breaks based on finished tasks rather than time.

I do not find any of those techniques useful, for me, it has to be a little longer the working time like 2 hours working - 10 min layoff.

@joanduarte You are amazing, Joan! You have a long attention span on task and you're able to concentrate for quite longest time! How do you do it?

    Depending on your preference

I can't say one is better than the other. For me, it's a matter of preference - mainly because I am used to working long hours and taking short breaks. I find I'm more productive this way as shortening my work hours tend to pull my focus away from work.
