When you hire, would you mind if the candidate uses AI during interview?

GM Producthunt community. This is a very interesting question I got from comments. 
My two cents: as a team leader, I actually would love to see AI-minded candidates. Fool me all you can, if you win, I get someone who gets things done.
What do y'all think?

As long as they're are as good as what they use AI to create. Some depend way too much on AI and when they explain, talk or even do things you can see a big difference with what they show you.

I wouldn’t mind at all if a candidate uses AI during an interview – if anything, it could be a great way to showcase resourcefulness and adaptability. AI is a tool, and knowing how to use it effectively is a skill in itself.

That said, it’s important that the candidate demonstrates their own thinking and problem-solving abilities alongside the AI. The balance between leveraging tools and showcasing personal expertise is what really stands out to me in interviews.

As for now, I will hate if the candidate use extra help. Unless you develop one for the employer as well. Let the AIs balance off each other, and the playground is level again.

No, I believe soft skills and enthusiasm can't be simulated by AI. Interviewing is a game that favours those who know the rules.
