My two cents: as a team leader, I actually would love to see AI-minded candidates. Fool me all you can, if you win, I get someone who gets things done.

I wouldn’t mind at all if a candidate uses AI during an interview – if anything, it could be a great way to showcase resourcefulness and adaptability. AI is a tool, and knowing how to use it effectively is a skill in itself.
That said, it’s important that the candidate demonstrates their own thinking and problem-solving abilities alongside the AI. The balance between leveraging tools and showcasing personal expertise is what really stands out to me in interviews.

No, I believe soft skills and enthusiasm can't be simulated by AI. Interviewing is a game that favours those who know the rules.
