When do you consider an idea validated?

So I'm building a gamified community building platform for indie hackers and solo founders, and it's getting some positive attention with 0 marketing. (https://hackerhuddle.com) When can I officially say this is validated? A certain number of people on a waitlist? A certain number of pre-sales? What do you all think?
