Don't think there is a problem that extends to all social media, each one seems to have it's own disadvantages and advantages. But I would say a consistent one is annoying or tedious UI. For example, on Facebook, someone may like to toggle their privacy settings frequently, but if it's locked behind several layers of settings, it can be a pain to get through. I'd love a more customizable UI for different user preferences. I also see that you're interested in AI.
