Do you use any tools to collect customer feedback? What type of feedback do you find most useful for your product?

Product Hunt is one tool that can help you get good feedback. An alternative to this is using real people to test your product. Beta testing is the key.

We have a feature in our product that asks the user if they'd like to give feedback. Honestly that's the best thing we've done so far but we should probably look into other alternatives too...

Depends :) Used NPS using a chatbot before, Fullstory to watch session replays, and HS forms.

gmail / gmeet for user interviews & an internal help center on the app where people can report bugs, request features, and leave feedback. But 1:1 convos are by far the most insightful in my opinion

@logan_weaver Internal help center with self serve to submit feedback is definitely doable! When you say 1:1, how do you get users to come for user interviews?

@priyanka_prasad5 depends on how active they are, I think. If someone falls off, it's good to ask them why & sometimes they'll genuinely tell you, which is very helpful for understanding where potential improvements lie. If someone is highly active, they're typically pretty excited to talk to you! It's kind of like a waiter at a restaurant, right? You're there to make sure they have a great experience & understand their needs without being salesy or down their throat
