For me it was computer vision. Having a computer being able to recognize the real world environment was mind blowing to me when I first saw it.
It was chatGPT - I think it was for most people, but the thing I'm most interested in ATM is text to voice AI

@william_mathews1 Yeah, companies will likely integrate TTS in all sorts of things. William, do you know toilets having Alexa?

hey there, mate it's fascinating how a particular project or technology nudges us into the vast sea of curiosity, isn't it? for me, it was more of a slow dance rather than a sudden spark. a lingering curiosity got stoked with each nuanced algorithm, each thoughtful line of code i encountered on my journey. chatgpt is surely a marvel, a proof of how far we've come in melding words with machine. it's not just about how machines are getting better at understanding us, but how they make us pause and reflect on our own thinking, our language. every interaction with AI pushes us to be a tad more precise, a bit more thoughtful. it's a two-way street, really. as we shape AI, it shapes us. and in this ever-evolving dialogue, i find a world full of questions, ideas, and a relentless pursuit of what's beyond the known. so here we are, amidst a community brimming with the curious and the brave, each one with a unique spark that led them here. it's a shared journey of discovery, one code, one query at a time. enjoy the voyage, Karim
