I'm planning a PH launch in Feb.
It's a new community for me, so I'm focused on building reciprocal relationships with other PH members, and I'm hoping that when the time comes they'll check out our product (CRANQ.ai) and see if it interests them.
We can also bring some traffic from our X.com presence where we have a strong community, and I'm talking to people there about the PH launch, and making a note of who might be curious.

I usually focus on creating a launch checklist things like scheduling emails, setting up social media media posts, and prepping FAQs. Being organized helps maximize impact.
My go-to strategy for gaining visibility on Product Hunt is (as @feliciana_liu already mentioned) to get actively involved in the community well before launching anything. This means engaging with discussions, upvoting and commenting on other makers' launches, and offering genuine feedback.
Building relationships within the community helps create a support network, so when it's time for your launch, people are more likely to notice and support your product. It’s about giving value to the community first, which naturally leads to more visibility when you launch.
I actively engage with the Product Hunt community, responding to comments and promoting the launch through social media to drive traffic and encourage votes.
