Hiring a person directly to be a CoFo without knowing them well. Cost heavily, but so glad they're gone now.

Officially registering the company with toooo many associates.

We are 13. Very difficult to manage all bureaucracy stuff with so many people involved.

@socialbhat from my past bad experience, I don't think it's about time. You may know someone for 20yrs and still find new layers because we all grow. It's more about compatibility and if you can actually trust that this person will get stuff done and has a great worth ethic and is as invested in the vision of the company as the founder. And if they are, no matter what they'll stay through thick and thin to bring value to you and everyone they work with. To assess, maybe doing a mini project or even multiple projects together to see the dynamics would help as a starting point. Just my 2 cents :)

@socialbhat as a struggler not much experience but getting 5-10 customer who uses your product and can provide comprehensive feedback and then doing soft launch in your network to create little buzz is working fine till now for me.

@software_guy trying to do it all on my own,I would say would be one big mistake I would avoid in future even though i know I'm good at it, I would prefer hiring whos 10x better than me.
