What's the origin story of your startup?

For me, the idea for Collabwriting had been simmering for some time before I decided to go all in.
I knew there was a problem to be solved as I'd experienced it myself but was not sure how I'd manage as a founder.
What finally pushed me to make the decision was a particularly grueling 4-hour meeting where I decided if I'm going to be working this hard, with so much stress, it might as well be for something I firmly believe in.

When app store just launched on iPhone, I was having some funs with my son doing some apps/games for iPhone. Found that development is way more fun that my real work (I am a CTO of a company at that time, spent more time managing people than programming), so I quit and start a company (which named after my favourite computer Apple IIGS).
