Why? Simple, effective, and recursive since it forces the other to think, and you can instantly follow up to a half-assed response with another why. It lets you dig as much as you want.

To use this question well, you need to listen carefully and follow the user's story closely. Don't interrupt or take over the conversation. Let them decide where the talk goes. - Understand how the user thinks - Find out what the user believes - Know what the user is frustrated with - Know what the user is looking for

How have you previously tried to solve this problem - If they haven't tried other things to solve it, it probably isn't a big enough problem!
@mehmet_yitmen1 it's a fair point, some "nice to have products" do work, but they are just harder to get going, you need more traction and stuff
