What’s the most important feature you look for in a new product before upvoting?

I look out the immediate functionality and see where the product can be used, then I check the if industry or category is an area am I interested in. 
Design, aesthetics and simplicity checks comes afterwards.

@nisa_meray when a tool does not give me many steps to get started with a feature/actions e.g screen studio make recording easy to kick start without friction.

For me, it's all about the core value prop and how useful it will be in solving a real problem I have. Slick design is nice, but I care way more about functionality and if it will actually make my life easier in a meaningful way. I also look at the team behind it to see if they seem legit and capable of delivering on their vision.
