What's the lesson that you will never learn in college but incredibly useful

I feel like I'm just learning by heart during my studies. I learn most of my lessons at work or in my private life. For example, how to present properly or how to deal with people in general

Like the chances you could change your fate, study hard and work hard doesn't mean anything.

I learn most of the skills for work outside of school and college. I think it's because we don't know what is useful or important when we are students. Further more, time changes over time.
