What's the best way to find early adopter for app based social software?

I am exploring the problem space of loneliness and disconnection amongst people as a potential startup idea. Considering everyone seems to be having this issue, it is difficult to find early adopters who would use and pay for the product. Need ideas on how to do initial customer development and product testing for such a problem space?

I would recommend you to create a set of customer personas. The persona will help yo better understand the customer's pain points. Its super important to understand the problem, and the customers' needs. Otherwise, somebody may end-up in building something that nobody requires. There are several prodoct management tools available online which can help you problem discovery, planning and building the product.
