What's the best timeframe for scheduling your product launch in advance?

I was wondering how much time would you guys recommend to prepare your launch in advance. This includes marketing, scheduling your product, and slowly creating some buzz around it. I was thinking about something like 2 weeks. I am asking since I plan on launching my productized service soon :)
