Sorry, dcupl hasn’t launched on PH yet, which is why I’m curious about the responses. We plan to do so in the future.

One important lesson I regret not having grasped before even starting my first hunt is proper outreach and buildup within the community before a product launch. It is imperative to foster excitement and build relationships with the community well in advance. Product Hunt is not only a place where you can introduce your product; it is an audience-dependent focus where the effectiveness and outcome of the marketing efforts depend on the audience infatuation even before the product is unveiled. The earlier you involve potential users, get their input, create a lot of chatter, and schmooze potential customers or makers, the better your undertaking will be. It is no longer about the good old white paper; it is how well you have geared and designed the community to receive it.

@krishanu_chakraborty thanks! really helps, I'll be launching my product in 10 days, and that's my first time, so a little bit confused.

@krishanu_chakraborty Krishanu, you’ve nailed a crucial aspect of a successful launch! Building relationships and engaging with the community well in advance really does set a strong foundation. A lot of people underestimate the value of community engagement before the product is even out there—especially on platforms like Product Hunt, where a significant amount of traction can come from pre-existing relationships. It’s not just about the launch day itself; it’s about nurturing a network of supporters who are genuinely excited to see what you bring to the table. The enthusiasm of your audience and how they react to your launch can make all the difference. And by involving potential users early on, you're not only gathering valuable feedback that helps refine product-market fit, but also deepening those relationships, which can translate into long-term success. In my own experience, I’ve connected with more than 4,000 people from the PH community on LinkedIn, which makes up about 75-80% of all my connections there. The great thing about these connections is that many of them are active on other Product Hunt alternatives, making it easier to expand your launch across different platforms. Engaging with the community beyond PH has been instrumental for me in building long-term relationships that extend across various networks.

@alexanderfarr Thanks! Of course, it is both. Discussing topics with good comments and reaching out to other people by liking them definitely gets you going for increasing your presence and reputation in the community.

100% this! I made the mistake of just launching on PH without building any anticipation or relationships first. Gotta start the hype train early, get folks excited, and really schmooze with the PH community well before launch day. It's all about the audience, not just the product itself. Lesson learned the hard way!

One crucial lesson before a Product Hunt launch is the importance of community engagement and pre-launch preparation. For Truck Simulator Ultimate Play Mode APK, building excitement with a targeted audience, gathering feedback, and optimizing the game’s features ahead of time could ensure a smoother launch and better reception from the gaming community.
