What's more stressful: Launching on PH or posting on a big subreddit with strict policies?

Hi Product Hunt fam, Just launched our pre-beta casually with no expectations. After launching on PH, I was about post on Reddit. But felt this huge mental block that's still preventing me from posting. Literally feels more stressful than doing PH. Does anyone feel the same way?

Yes, for sure. It's not an easy task to publish a product on Reddit. If you don't have a history, I would recommend launching your product in these subreddits: r/SideProject and r/InternetIsBeautiful - it's possible to publish your product here without breaking the rules.

@jakub_piskor Hi Jakub. Agreed. It's always difficult to launch on Reddit. Hence, the more focus should be on SEO and content marketing. We did however get more than 3000 users and emails from Reddit alone ;)

@david_t_kim That's a really impressive result, big congrats! I would be honored if you can share some of your lessons learned from Reddit Marketing on my site Startupdock.net - you can help other founders and get exposure for your brand as well.
