Defining clear success metrics at the start is key. Some good ones: % of requirements delivered, defect rate, team velocity, and of course customer satisfaction. But the specific metrics depend on your project. Regular check-ins with the customer to get their feedback and sentiment is also super important to make sure you're on the right track and can course correct if needed. Just my 2 cents!
