We usually talk about what marketing activities worked for someone’s product. Maybe it’s time to discuss the things people did that didn’t work and why.

You ever watch one of those survival shows where someone rubs two sticks together to make a fire, only for them to eventually just use a match? Yeah, that’s what expired domains are like for your business traffic. You could build up traffic from scratch – sweating and praying your keywords catch fire – or you could just use Rush Analytics’ Expired Domains Search tool. It’s your handy SEO matchbook, finding domains with backlinks, authority, and traffic already baked in. Just set the filters, and let the tool automate the hunt for you. It’s like having a treasure map without needing to wrestle a pirate. If you’re serious about traffic, you gotta check it out https://rush-analytics.com/land/.... Plus, this nifty tool integrates SEO metrics so you’re not left guessing whether a domain’s a treasure or just fool's gold. It even allows you to export your results for further analysis. At this point, the only thing standing between you and a traffic bonanza is yourself. So go ahead, give your SEO strategy a little boost with expired domains – you’ll be lighting that traffic fire faster than you can say “where’s the match?”

@migu_rico Do you mind walking me through how you go about that?

Didn't work for us either. Tried some Google/Meta ads but got pretty low CTR and basically no conversions. Organic social media posts and content marketing seem to work better for us so far - people discovering us through helpful blog posts, videos, etc. Good ol' word of mouth referrals still work best though!

I tried some paid social media campaigns and email blasts for my SaaS product, but the ROI was pretty lackluster. I think focusing more on inbound content marketing, SEO, and building an engaged community has worked better for organic growth in the long run. But I'm always open to hearing about new marketing tactics that have worked well for others!

Great idea to dive into what didn’t work! At the Lead Generation Agency, we’ve definitely had our share of marketing missteps. For instance, we once invested heavily in a series of webinars that didn't translate into leads as expected. The content was solid, but the promotion strategy missed the mark.
