What makes LinkedIn great and what can make it even better?

Like: just the whole idea of if it being professional social media. Its existence really filled in a demand. Dislike: Monetization of basic features like searches. I'm not surprised this is happening (youtube does it too), and it seems par for the course for most social media sites, but considering linkedin is for a specific use rather than entertainment, it reduces its functionality even greater.

Can't imagine life without it! Something I would like to change/hate about LinkedIn is how much spam I keep getting...
