What makes a launch go wrong?

There's lots of chat on here about how to have a good launch - my question is how would you go about making sure it's a failure.
We're launching soon (teaser: https://www.producthunt.com/products/procaptcha) and want to make sure it goes well.
Tell us what things to NOT do!

Oh, what a question 😂
If we take the opposite approach to all the advice on how to succeed, here's how to make it a failure:
1) Make the description as vague as possible without providing any real explanation of how your product can help or who it's for. Also, don't leave the first comment or write it poorly too.
2) Keep your launch a secret - don't tell anyone or engage in discussions on your social media profiles.
3) Avoid creating a teaser, let your launch be a surprise, maybe even to yourself.
4) Schedule the launch for the latest possible time of the day.
5) Launch on a less active day of the week (not entirely sure about this one, but I've heard weekends are less active?)
By the way, I've subscribed to your launch! We are launching soon too here 👉 producthunt.com/products/steerer
