Have you ever tried an app with no testimonials? It seems important, but I'm not sure which format to use.
For starters I've asked most active users to share a video testimonials. Using senja as it looks sleek✨ https://www.producthunt.com/products/senja
What format do you prefer, or which ones have worked best in your experience?

Short videos, they are less time consuming
We believe in the power of authenticity when it comes to testimonials. While video testimonials can be powerful, written testimonials can also hold a lot of weight. It really depends on the platform and audience you are targeting. Experiment with different formats and see what resonates best with your users.

@kostyabolsh, this is such a relevant topic! 😄 I've definitely been swayed by video testimonials before, especially when they're authentic and relatable. They can really build trust and show the app in action. Senja sounds like a sleek choice! Personally, I also find written reviews with detailed experiences super helpful. What kind of feedback have you received from your most active users so far? 😊

All of these are useful, but what to prioritize depends on your goals I guess.
If your main goal is to drive website traffic, then social media shoutouts work best. If you want to convert visitors to sign ups, you'll entice them with a testimonials section on the homepage and with case studies.
@natalia_toth makes sense
I think at first you get testimonials for credibility and proof to convert users.
And than when you already found channels to get some customer base you start turning testimonials intro leadgen
Hey @kostyabolsh
I prefer testimonials that are specific and credible. Here's a breakdown of what that means:
Specific: They mention the product or service by name and talk about the results achieved.
Credible: They come from a reliable source, like a customer with a name and title, or a reputable publication.
Here are some examples of testimonials I find most helpful:
Customer written reviews: These show real people's experiences and can be found on websites like Google reviews or Yelp.
Video testimonials: Seeing a real person talking about their experience adds a layer of trust.
Case studies: These go deeper into a customer's success story and showcase the specific benefits they received.
Overall, the best testimonials are those that convince me that the product or service can actually deliver the results it promises.
i prefer blog post with case study
