"If you define AGI (artificial general intelligence) as smarter than the smartest human, I think it's probably next year, within two years" https://www.reuters.com/technology/teslas-musk-predicts-ai-will-be-smarter-than-smartest-human-next-year-2024-04-08/

I believe him. Not sure what it means for the humanity though. Iā€™m smart but not that smart, so not going to pretend that I know this kinda shit šŸ˜…

@simona_o_neill3 I believe him too. I think ChatGPT4 is already smarter than me, so no need to wait 2 years. šŸ˜„

I don't. LLMs have inherent limitations that no amount of compute capacity and training can overcome.

@konrad_sx This is certainly critical. We're launching "Cascad3 - A decentralized inspiration-driven publishing platform" on Product Hunt soon. I would appreciate your support and feedback by clicking the "Notify Me" button to stay tuned and be the first to know when Cascad3 debuts on the stage.šŸ‘‡ producthunt.com/products/cascad3 Thank you! I dont think being "smart" is what defines a human over another human. All humans are as smart as what's provided for us to look at. Ultimately, intellect is collectively progressing in an evolution like way, the same with our feelings and emotions. Until AGI can successfully spend a lifetime mistaking people as a "human", AGI is not here.
