145 bpm music and caffeine!

This is what I'm practicing: - Pomodoro timer - Sims soundtrack playlist - Flow focus playlist
Madeleine Nichols
@simona_stamatovska Sims has been a guilty pleasure for a long time... I also enjoy movie soundtracks - anything Hans Zimmer makes you feel pretty epic How're you finding Pomodoro?
Simona Stamatovska
@madeleine_nichols will definitely try working with Zimmer next time :) Pomodoro works pretty well for me, sometimes when 25 minutes is not enough to "go with the flow" I change it to 40 minutes work and 10 minutes break.

Every day write down 1-2 highlights for a day and do them as soon as possible.

@ovamoki Does it then make you feel better so you manage to do even more later during the day?
Laurentiu Bancu
I have a simple one - I split my to-do list in two: one with three tasks and one with the other 237. And I NEVER have more than three items in the first one.
Kyra Aylsworth
Timeblocking, prioritizing 1-2 important things to focus on first, YouTube pomodoro playlists (so I know when it's time to take a break)! 😅
Dheeraj Prajapati
I try and follow the bare minimum distraction from interruption.

Planning at the end of the day all the next day, it goes very well and makes me more focused.

Lo-fi music for tasks that require low to mid brainpower. But I go to a completely different environment with all distractions/notifications off when I need to really squeeze my brain.
Ivy Lee method :)

One of the most effective productivity hacks is the Pomodoro technique, which involves breaking down your workday into 25-minute increments with short breaks in between.

Lo-fi music 😌

Track time spent on tasks. Create certain time limits to spend on a particular task and focus just on that one in a given moment. With this simple tactic I manage to save a lot of time and increase my outcomes. So definitely recommend :) Also, guys, would be super grateful if you support my first product launch on PH which is actually also about time management and productivity enhancement! https://www.producthunt.com/prod...

Don't really have a specific one Just sit down and do the work But setting reasonable goals is very useful, prevents you from burning out

Journaling... helps a lot in the long run! If you are constantly monitoring your productivity, you have a great chance of improving over time!
Madeleine Nichols
@aghhelmut yes, I came across interstitial journalling recently. Now I take stock of how I'm feeling inbetween tasks (30secs) and it's been helping me to build better work routines
Madeleine Nichols
big advocate of the daily highlight, and I also interweave journalling as part of the daily planning process. Taking a moment to write down 3 things I'm grateful for and how I'll make the day great

The is only one thing I try to do now => avoiding perfectionism I'm a f****** perfectionist, and even if it's very useful daily to produce a high quality work or content, this can really be a tricky habit So now, my productivity hack when I'm doing something only consists to say "It's never gonna be perfect" What's yours @brajendra_kumar2 ?
Ishansh Singh
@devezehugo Interesting. Over a period of time what changed that you moved away from perfectionism to being focused say ‘if it scores 7 out of 10’ I am okay with it?
Charlie Kor
Checking 'where is my mind at the moment?' by setting the alarm. It's like a focus check. It's a big help to get back in focus and complete priority tasks first.

Planning your day the night before. You subconsiously prepare your self for the tasks ahead, and know exactly what you will be doing in the morning.
Brajendra Kumar
@kwaku_amprako 100% agree. I do it too. Thanks for sharing Kwaku!
Ishansh Singh
Do not compromise on your sleep. The better you sleep the better you will be able to focus the next day!
Mirena Vasileva
Hide my phone away, set tasks and put a timer on so then I feel pressured to finish it in the given time. Otherwise it's just one big procrastination.
