Depends on your initial goals. Some want new users, some want more feedback, some want to check product hypothesis.

Feedback and adapt. Networking.
I consider a successful launch to be honest reviews from users who have used my product in different areas and they will like it. I want my product to help people the way it helped me.
A successful launch has clearly defined objectives that align with the overall business strategy. These objectives could be related to user acquisition, revenue generation, brand awareness, or customer satisfaction.
i haven't launched yet but i imagine:
- collecting a certain # of sign ups through launch
- collecting actionable feedback
- making friends / fans / connections!
