Wow, that's hard. What are your thoughts?

@matcha_anil @elly_cho what specific daily examples are you thinking of? Besides working on my car or being my own personal surgeon, I don't see this coming true.
@matcha_anil @travis_page I think of AR as a technology that can introduce new ways of doing things, similar to how AI is changing the way we work.
@matcha_anil I hadn't thought of that, but it sounds right.
We are not done with AI yet, but it will be AGI.
@pratik_rajurkar If AGI arrives, we will definitely be done with AI
@pratik_rajurkar completely agree, at least so far as, the next earth-shaking trend
I'm waiting when they will learn ChatGPT to speak
@oleksandr_dardalan What would be the use-case here
@oleksandr_dardalan you could create super crude tooling for this. GPT + screen reader

@jason_andries1 My guess is AR as well. AGI being developed is scary
Wavel AI
That's a great question, but I think how AI will play a big role in offline industries too. Automating and speeding manual work. So exciting space coming up.
@nikhil_mehra2 Have you observed any recent developments in the offline AI space ?
Wavel AI
@matcha_anil Haven't heard of any, what about you? But can feel it coming
@nikhil_mehra2 My knowledge in the space is outdated. Had kept in touch only until 4 years ago when it was used in retail analytics, non-invasive treatments etc.
@rondo It is already here, the news came out today https://www.producthunt.com/prod...
@mehmet_avci1 You believe we will be back to Web3 hype ?
@mehmet_avci1 @matcha_anil I think Web 3 has a little bit more time to come back around.. At least an year from now, before then - a small but jaw-dropping development in AGI is going to break the internet
There are many opportunities for growth in AI field. With advancements in machine learning, computer vision, and natural language processing, I'm likely to see more sophisticated robots that can perform increasingly complex tasks.
@shaur_ul_asar Robotics usecases are going to be interesting
I think connecting AI with Hardware would be the next thing. And then bots will take over humans haha
@edworking Scary future
Wow. I'm still catching up with AI. Can't think of the next one.
IMO the next trend will be Low code/No code. Developers are slightly shifting to that and citizen developers are also getting more power with that.
@aaikansh_agrawal1 totally agree. GPT already amplifies no code because you can essentially teach yourself how to do complex integrations between no code and hard-to-use APIs
@aaikansh_agrawal1 I think its already here. Have you been using the Chat GPT API?
@aaikansh_agrawal1 Wasn't nocode a trend already
@matcha_anil Yes, it is a trend already. But I believe the bubble has not yet busted
@travis_page YEs, GPT with low code/ no code will be a game changer in coming years
I think we might see more combinations of things like AI + crypto or AI + metaverse.
Though I think the next "big" trend would have to be precise and cheap decentralized 3d printing
Not sure when it will occur, but it would be "big"
@richard_gao2 Interesting, what is the timeline for this you believe
I can't wait to see the moment we speak to people through holograms, just like in the movies.
Phones will be on watches.
So AR will shape the future.
@manab_boruah AR is my bet as well. Holograms are going to be cool
How about AE as artificial experience? When people signing up to experience feelings on demand. AKA cognitive manipulation, selling new “drug” as “healthy”. I did some work and see that it’s can be very next big thing. Now that is scary and fascinating same time. What is your thoughts on that?
@kristin24968340 This is interesting and frightening. Care to share any resources on this ?
AI voice assistance, similar to the movie "Her" now seem like a near-term reality vs. science fiction for the future. An always-on personal assistant actually capable of conversation and managing travel, scheduling, reservations, research, recommendations, etc... I guess this still falls under AI, but I think moving it into a space where AI is conversant and voice interactive while also serving utility.
@matcha_anil I'm there when it's ready. Sign me up for my driverless car, 24/7 AI assistant in my ear, and let's go!
@chris_williams22 This should definitely be possible by integration ChatGPT with a TTS system
Experts and futurists predict that the next trend after AI could be quantum computing, augmented reality, blockchain technology, the Internet of Things (IoT), or a combination of these technologies.
-Quantum computing holds the promise of exponential improvements in processing power leading to breakthroughs in drug discovery, scientific research, and cryptography.
-Augmented reality uses digital technology to enhance or augment the real-world environment and is already making significant strides in gaming and education.
-Blockchain technology is poised to revolutionize industries such as finance, healthcare, and logistics by providing secure, decentralized, and transparent record-keeping.
-The IoT is a network of interconnected devices that can share data and communicate with each other, and it is already transforming the way we live and work.
@pedro_de_la_nube Quantum computing seems to be the common answer
Quantum computing without a doubt
AI + IOT?
@brian_ahearn Opens up a lot of possibilites
We are talking about artificial intelligence I think it will define its own trend.
maybe it's searching for a deeper understanding of the universe or maybe it figures out what consciousness is and maximises for that.
What do you think is next
@anton_von_hunerbein I believe AI + AR can be the one
This is actually a difficult question, because so far many trends have appeared suddenly, and new trends may come from things that most people did not expect
@new_user_242d4809c6b09 Everything is moving at breakneck speed
