There are several important aspects of growing a startup, but perhaps the most critical is clearly understanding your target market and customers. Another essential aspect of growing a startup is having a strong team. You must assemble a team of talented and dedicated individuals who share your vision and have the skills and experience to help you execute your business plan. As you scale, you must continue to recruit and retain top talent to keep your business moving forward. Finally, cash flow management is critical for startups. You need to have a clear understanding of your burn rate and runway, and you need to be proactive in securing funding to keep your business growing. You may need to seek out investors, apply for grants, or bootstrap your business until it becomes profitable. In summary, while there are many important aspects of growing a startup, having a deep understanding of your target market and customers, building a strong team, and managing cash flow are three of the most critical.

Building the right systems to scale. You can't grow if they don't exist.

Start ups are tough, and you go through a lot (we both know this too well lol), having the ability to push through, or knowing when to pivot & adapt is key. A lot of start ups are born from ideas, but they're just that - ideas. Early on, there's limited testing, limited user feedback, limited research - don't expect the idea you have at the beginning to always be the final offering. The Lean Start up by Eric Reis has some great examples of this. Resilience is key when having to navigate difficult decisions and dealing with whatever challenges come your way.
