As companies shift from physical servers to the cloud, they become even more vulnerable to cyber-attacks, such as side channel, wrapping, insider, and ransomware attacks. Companies want to ensure that the data uploaded into the cloud will only be available to themselves and to persons whom they explicitly authorized. Neither the provider nor any unauthorized third parties, be they potential hackers or innocent passers-by, should be able to access the user’s private and confidential information. We at TransferChain, believe privacy is a fundamental human right. Our company’s vision is to disrupt conventional cloud storage and cyber security in a much more privacy-focused sense. We built the most secure and private cloud by integrating cutting-edge technologies such as blockchain, cryptography and decentralization to lift a burden from businesses' shoulders regarding high costs and protection of their data.

    1. Data breaches We're seeing a lot of leaks caused by inappropriate data handling. Cybersec companies will build the infrastructure for securely managing company and government data 2. Ransomware as a servive Can you believe it? Shadow businessmen have developed a new way to distribute a ransomware to their partners. Basically, it's like a turnkey SaaS for attacking companies with ransom apps lol 3. Internet of Things hacking As everything becomes a computer, it gets an IP address. This allows the hackers to build botnets with even more devices. The IoT owners won't even know their fridges and smart sockets are DDoSing someone! 4. Quantum computing This is a high threat for cryptographic ciphers. The technology can decrease the cost of bruteforcing passwords and whatnot. This is especially a concern for blockchain communities. However, this challenge will likely be met with similar quantum cipher algorithms. Go future! 5. Artificial intelligence Hey chatGPT, hack me this company! With the complexity of AI, we'll see smart hacking strategies developed and executed by AI. 6. Huge demand and low supply for cybersec skills Cyberseek.org shows there are 770M unfilled cybersec jobs in the US. Meaning this is a high-opportunity industry.

By the way, I'm currently a marketer at HackenProof. It's a bug bounty platform for crypto projects. If you're looking for securing your crypto project with a crowdsourced approach, hit me up!

Cybersecurity is an ever-evolving field and the future of it is constantly changing to keep up with the evolving threat landscape. As technology continues to advance, so do the methods used by cybercriminals to carry out attacks. In response, the cybersecurity industry is continuously innovating and developing new techniques to defend against these threats. Here are a few key areas in which the future of cybersecurity is likely to focus: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning - AI and machine learning will play a critical role in the future of cybersecurity. These technologies can be used to quickly detect and respond to threats in real-time, analyze large amounts of data to identify patterns and anomalies, and automate many manual security processes. Cloud Security - With the increasing adoption of cloud computing, the protection of cloud-based systems and data will become a major priority. This will involve the implementation of robust security measures at the network, infrastructure, and application levels to prevent data breaches and protect sensitive information. Internet of Things (IoT) Security - The widespread adoption of IoT devices has created new security challenges, and the future of cybersecurity will focus on addressing these challenges by implementing security measures at the device, network, and cloud levels. Losing important work documents is a common problem for most users. Spending time trying to recover information somehow or redo it leads to decreased productivity and possibly even poor quality work. It's important to protect yourself and your devices from ransomware by, for example, regularly updating your software and backing up your files. Here you can find more information about ransomware protection solutions
