I will start by saying that you can't build a community on Twitter. You can only build an audience. Now the more people that you do this with at the same time, the more your audience will grow. But remember, an audience isn't the same thing as a community. There is a certain amount of trust involved, a certain level of transparency, and a certain level of vulnerability that is required in order to have a true community. As far as I know, there is no way to start a community on Twitter. You can build an audience, but if you want to build a community, you have to use a different platform.

Have a decent traction before you pitch. Nowadays no VC fund just a landing page startups.

I am not sure what you are trying to solve but it is very important to create a story that present how you have solved the problems by connected the dots right. You may required a few core things only to get funded. Hope, that helps.
