Hi all 👋 I'm working on a project that enables businesses to integrate gamification into any system. As part of this, I'm researching highly effective examples of gamification. Many of us can probably relate to these examples: - Duolingo's learning leaderboards and streaks - ProductHunt's streaks - Strava's Local Legend So, I would like to ask: What is the best example of gamification that has worked for you? A personal example for myself = I keep signing in daily to retain my streak – I'm not even sure why! 🤣🤣 Thanks a lot 🙏

I really enjoy the gamification aspect of Duolingo. I recently decided to brush up on my long-forgotten school French, and the app's gamified features and visible progress have been incredibly motivating. They compel me to open the app daily, and I'm proud to say I've maintained a streak of over 600 days and 100.000+ experience! In fact, the gamification aspect is essential for getting through tough days when you're in a bad mood or distracted by other interests. Even on those days, I still use Duolingo to maintain my streak and keep up my progress. Somebody else using Duolingo? What is your strike?

@christoph_dyllick_brenzinger1 That sounds amazing, congratulations on the streak, 600 days is boss-mode.! And yeah DuoLingo really mastered the gamification part, they are also one of my top cases when i try to learn about it 🙏

Oh, the power of streaks! Duolingo's got us hooked like virtual language-learning wizards. It's like a daily challenge with less sweat and more brain gains! 🧠✨

For me, the most effective gamification comes from habit-forming apps like Habitica. It turns daily tasks into a role-playing game, where completing real-life tasks levels up your character. This clever blend of productivity and play not only keeps me engaged but also makes mundane tasks enjoyable. 🎮✅
