What is most important in business?

The most underrated skill in business: "Product intuition" (and the most important IMO) As an example: When Steve Jobs introduced the iPhone 1. Everyone said he was a fool because the current phones on the market had more features. But his intuition was to ignore them. That intuition changed the world.

@busmark_w_nika Famous last words, how hard can It be πŸ˜…. (This is the story about everyone on producthunt πŸ˜‚) But back to to your question. If you think about it. Nokia had everything, Team, Marketing, Idea. But they lacked the product sense / intuition. Now Nokia is gone. Over confidence that Team, Idea, Marking was enough. You have to be relevant with the times. Overleverage when times change and you're doomed. So now we are in the AI times. And guess who is over leveraged? Apple. Steve Jobs is screaming from his grave. But apple is over confident on what they have. They will probably be able to turn things around, unlike Nokia who doubled down with Microsoft to create the windows-phone, and lost. Lack of product sensibility? hell yes. Nokia had the best marketing tho. Connecting people 🀝 And Express-on mobile covers. Good times!

The most crucial aspect in business is understanding your audience deeply and tailoring your marketing strategies to meet their needs and preferences. By doing so, you create a strong connection that not only attracts but also retains customers, driving long-term success.

A strong team Ideas can change, products can pivot, and effective marketing is always trial and error in the beginning. Nobody finds the holy marketing grail from the get-go. A strong team will be able to overcome all of these challenges together!

It is a easy one. A strong team is essential. If you have one, it not only generates unique ideas for effective marketing but also provides insights on how to make your product successful in every aspect.

I am for a unique idea, maybe so you will have a strong team, but without a good idea it can be pointless. I would say that there is a little bit of everything here.

People are the key to any business! Anyone can have an idea, but the real test is in the execution!

I also agree that is all three and more! You also need a clear roadmap and structure for validating this unique idea, training your team, and picking the right marketing channels. Moreover, all three become useless without knowledge of the market you're entering.

The most important things in business are the products or services you offer and how they differentiate themselves from your competitors. An effective team is also crucial, but it contributes more like 30-40% of the success.

@busmark_w_nika Yes, teams are equally important. But a business starts with an idea, and ideas always come from a person or a group of people (2-3 people). Then, the power of execution is important. When you are capable of executing your idea, you will definitely build a strong team. That's what I think.

All 3 play a big part, but a strong team executes ideas so much more than an idea or marketing. What I have learnt after setting up my first tech start up and exiting is that you should find the best people to take the business forward in the right direction. As an entrepreneur no matter how much you think you can, you're not the best at marketing, product, sales, tech and customer success. Take a step back, think about what you're good at. If you were in a room competing against the best in a certain profession what would you do well in? All the others skills you think you need to grow your business, that's where you need to fill the gaps with the best people possible.

Strong teams make strong projects! I think that the 3 mentioned, and way more aspects actually, are immensely important, but a strong team is the genesis of everything for a project. As a company lead you have to rely on others in order to go far, and you can only go far if you can rely on skilled individuals that have the ambition to make your business successful. Everything comes from the people that form the team. Unique ideas can come from any team member, effective marketing comes from your marketers, the strength of your product comes from your tech team, the drive in all your coworkers comes from you and your other leaders, and so on. So yes, I would say the strong team without a doubt, because everything else depends on it.

Definitely the strong team! πŸ”₯ Unique ideas appear all over the world every day, but not everyone can execute them or execute them well. So, a good, experienced team is a must to turn the idea into a product. And a good product is already a good foundation for marketing, which a strong team can use to try different marketing instruments and channels. Also, without a good product and a strong team, it will be hard to keep people interested, even if the marketing is extremely effective.

Effective marketing can’t deliver without a strong team. A unique idea can’t be delivered without a strong team. People are, and always will be, at the heart of every success.
