What is a likely trend for social media or social audio in the future?

I think Social Audio will merge with Podcasting and it become some sort of a hybrid where users can engage but also listen to it on their home, or participate in the discussions via text while the Hosts answers their questions. Kinda looking forward to how it's gonna mature over the next years.
