Looking to start internal beta testing in about 2 weeks. I want to get some solid feedback and catch any bugs I may not have noticed. What is consider a good group of testers?

It depends very much on the product if there’s any variability for example, if it’s generating something, how variable is it?

@maxjacobs makes sense. It’s an app. Just wanted to get 10-20 users for test flight to just try out the app for feedback. Just didn’t know if that was good for an initial pool

@david_justice I mean of course, the more feedback the better but yes 10-20 is good to start with is they are actually active and provide real feedback

Depends on the product. Can be 1 day or 2 years or 30 years

@sentry_co I don’t think it’ll take quite long. Maybe 2weeks to a month. I guess I was just wondering how many specific users for an app is good for qa testing.

@david_justice Depends completely on the product. If it's a travel app that shows nice vaca spots. Then you need 1-2 days. If it's a crypto app, dealing with peoples money, months. If it's beta testing a jumbo jet. decades. 😅

yup @maxjacobs n @sentry_co ! It depends on the specific type of data you want and the testers who can provide the same. And if you are lucky, you shall meet those testers quite early or the pol who might know such testers ^^
